In the fourth week of the premier reserve championship round, table leaders Hora Hora 1 had their closest game with a seven-goal win over Fideliter 2.

Hora Hora 1 was up by three goals at the end of the first quarter and, at halftime, had extended their lead to seven goals.

The final two quarters saw Hora Hora 1 close the game out to win 47-40.

For Hora Hora 1, Kyla Williams at goal shoot kept grounded and assisted with the win through a solid performance.

Leah Valli at wing defence got multiple intercepts and Angela Wiki at goal keep, along with Marita Walters at goal defence, worked tirelessly.

Katelyn Gunson at goal attack for Fideliter 2 stood out moving well and shooting confidently in the circle.

Chubby Hale at wing attack chased down the loose ball while Kerri Boyt at centre directed play through the court nicely.

Abby Hutchinson provided solid defence at goal keep, putting pressure on the shooters and coming away with some clean turnover ball.

Manawanui Development had a win this week over Whangaruru 1.

Manawanui Development started strong to be ahead by five goals at the end of the first quarter. The next two quarters were close and they were only able to improve their lead by a goal each quarter.

They then finished strongly to win the game 51-38.

For Manawanui Development, Tyme Rata at goal shoot in the first half moved well and shot accurately.

Annastasia Larkin at centre played a strong game connecting well with both ends of the court and secured some timely intercepts.

Kapua Harris-Otene at goal defence was strong and applied pressure inside and outside the circle.

For Whangaruru 1, Tamea Ross at centre played exceptionally well through the court.

Geneva Edmonds at goal attack worked tirelessly to get ball in the shooting circle and shot consistently.

WGHS 10-1 had a good win over Marist 2.

They led from the start to win 57-34.

For WGHS 10-1, Carly Job at goal attack had her strongest showing of the season.

Ricco Watts-Niha at goal keep and Uma Robinson at goal defence worked tirelessly to get turnover ball.

For Marist 2, Sirelle Thompson at goal defence and goal keep got some nice intercepts.

Karen Compton played a solid game at wing defence.
