Police found $20,000 worth of P after stopping a car in Kaikohe
About $20,000 worth of methamphetamine - also known as P - was found when a man and woman accused of drug dealing were nabbed by Kaikohe police.
The pair were arrested after their car was stopped in Kaikohe about 1pm on Monday.
When a search of their car turned upcash and methamphetamine, police then turned their attention to a house in Kaikohe where more drugs and cash were found.
Police seized a total of 24 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of about $20,000, five tabs of LSD and $3320 in cash.
A 44-year-old man and 39-year-old woman appeared in the Kaikohe District Court yesterday on charges of possession for supply of methamphetamine and possession of utensils for methamphetamine.
