Police have arrested a 19-year-old man who allegedly left his driver's licence at a burglary scene in Whangarei.
Officers went to a Kaikohe home early yesterday morning and arrested the man, who was charged with burglary and will appear in the Kaikohe District Court on November 17.

two Andrea Jenkins told the Northern Advocate her home had been ransacked on Sunday morning and a huge amount of items taken.
All the food from the fridge and freezer was also taken in the raid along with the pet food for the turtle.
Her brother tracked the alleged thieves to a nearby home and discovered them eating food stolen from their fridge.
