A logging truck has rolled in Kaipara this afternoon becoming the third logging truck accident in Northland in the space of a week.
A logging truck rolled at about 5.30pm on SH14 at Awakino Point blocking the westbound land of the highway.
The driver received minor injuries and is being
treated by ambulance staff.
Police said the Police Commercial Vehicle Investigation Unit and the Serious Crash Unit will be investigating the incident.
It follows a logging truck crash in Dargaville on Tuesday last week and comes after logs spilled across Otaika Valley Rd when a fully laden truck and trailer unit went out of control and rolled on a bend on Monday, April 11.
