A Maori culture show will be performed at the Whangarei Falls tonight as part of a pilot tourism project.
Whangarei's Maori culture will be showcased on Friday as part of a tourism pilot involving a local marae.
Otuihau Whangarei Falls Scenic Reserve will be the setting for the WaiOra Maori cultural performance and show for visiting locals and tourists.

Haka Group, is the man behind the idea and has been supported by Creative Northland, Dr Shane Reti, "The Orchard", Northland Inc, Whangarei District Council and NorthTec.
A dress rehearsal for Friday's show was held last Tuesday and a special show was held on the Wednesday. The Creative Northland team will be gathering information from the audience as part of the pilot.
Tickets will be available from the Whangarei Falls before the show which starts at 5.45pm.
