A fierce contest of ki o rahi rounded out the Northland Area Schools tournament on Wednesday at Kensington Park with Te Kura Taumata o Panguru taking out the competition.

Results:

1st/2nd - Te Kura Taumata o Panguru beat Taipa Area School
3rd/4th - Broadwood Area School beat Te Kura Takiwa o Mangakahia
5th - Taipa Area School
6th equal - Tauraroa Area School and Te Kura Takiwa o Opononi
