Kamo High School's first XI cricket team has taken one step closer to co-ed school supremacy as they overpowered Pukekohe High School in a T20 game at Kensington Park on Wednesday.

After bowling their opponents out for 77, Lucas James taking four wickets and Kobe Walters taking two, the hosts chased the total down for the loss of just two wickets with Cole Roberts and Nathan Parkes leading the way with scores of 26 and 19 respectively.

This game was part of a Northern Districts tournament and should Kamo High School win their final game in Counties Manukau, they will represent the district in a national competition to decide who was the best co-ed school in New Zealand.
