Kaitaia woman missing for nearly two months was last seen hitchhiking

Police are appealing for help to find a Kaitaia woman who has been missing for nearly two months.

Theres'a Urlich, 45, has not been seen since February 4 and police said they were concerned for her safety.

Urlich was last seen hitchhiking south from Awanui in the Far North, wearing a bright yellow jacket and black three-quarter pants.

Police said they had "conducted a number of inquiries" since she was reported missing but had failed to find Urlich.
