Incumbent Irene Durham was the highest polling of the seven candidates in the Northpower Electric Power Trust election with 12,227 votes.
She has been re-elected along with four other incumbent trustees - Erc Angelo (11,217 votes), Tony Davies-Colley (9163), Ross Provan (8959), and Bill Rossiter (8855).
Unsuccessful candidates in theelection were Murray Broadbelt (6377 votes) and Don Robertson (4493).
Just over 55,000 voting forms for the triennial elections were sent out for the election, which concluded on Saturday.
The trust electoral officer, Dale Ofsoske, said the voter turnout was 26.7 per cent, down on the 29.36 per cent turnout for the 2010 election.
Two candidates for the two positions on the trust from the Kaipara district - Richard Drake and Sheena McKenzie - were elected unopposed when nominations closed on September 27.
The newly appointed trust members will appoint a chairperson and vice-chairperson when they hold their first meeting together on December 12.

Ms Durham was the highest-polling unsuccessful candidate in the 2010 election and joined the trust after the death of trustee Ann Shaw in February 2011.
