The children of those out-of-work parents would have an advantage if family credits pertained to them and benefits were enough to survive on.

That aside, there are parents who stated that they would rather have increases in daycare funding so that someone else can bond with their children.

My husband and I made a joint decision when we married that we would have children and I would not work or that I would work and we would not have children.
