Christmas Island, where hundreds of kiwis are still being detained.

Christmas Island, where hundreds of kiwis are still being detained.

Wonderful letter by Heather du Plessis Allan to Malcolm Turnbull about deporting taxpaying Australian-born citizens back from Australia because they have been convicted of minor infringements, including a tetraplegic because he used cannabis for pain.

How inhumane can a government get? Talk about finding any excuse to cut the unemployment rate.

Kiwis were welcomed with open arms as more productive workers than the native Australians, their skills and muscles were used and brought in a rich tax take for the Australian Government over many decades.

Now that they have passed their use-by date, these Australian Kiwis are being chewed up, spat out and dumped without money, support or family and does John Key care?

Not a bit. He only made a token gesture to go into bat for them. The game was as fixed as the cricket matches were with the rich being the only winners in the game of people's lives!
Cut the crap, John. Grow some spine and defend our Kiwis from being treated like scum. Play their game and deport all Australians with convictions, cut benefits to all Australian citizens forthwith making them survive in New Zealand on family or their wits.

You can pass legislation for a new piece of cloth in the blink of an eye, but when it comes to people, you just do not care.

One hundred years of the Anzac spirit has been wiped by the mere stroke of the legislative pen by the Australian Government.

Those who choose to stay and work in Australia have paid taxes for the benefit of native Australians only and will never receive Australian citizenship despite their generosity and loyalty to that country over the years.
