Last weekend the Northland representative squads travelled to North Harbour for a quadrangular event against North Harbour, Auckland and Bay of Plenty.
Good use of these matches was made by the selectors to form Northland teams for representation at New Zealand tournaments to be played later in the season. Well done to the women's one to five year squad who earned first place in their division. The next matches will be against Far North on December 1.
Bowls3Five Sky TV style will start on the October 23 and will run through three nights a week until December 11. The Northland version to find our club to represent Northland will start on November 27. Entry forms have been sent to all clubs.
This season there are two divisions, an open division which is nine players three teams playing triples and a one to five year division which will played as one triples team. Clubs may enter as many teams as they wish. Open division must have at least three players of the opposite gender and the one to five year division can be teams of any combination.
