North Force will be kicking themselves after blowing a 2-0 lead at the 90-minute mark to draw 2-all with Lotto NRFL Division Two leaders Papakura City.

As the game fed into overtime, a lapse in concentration by North Force saw Papakura's strikers get on the board with two quick goals to level the game.

North Force were on a steady track for victory before the quick Papakura comeback.

Achieving a similar scoreline in the last round against Papatoetoe AFC, a match in which North Force clawed back to level 2-all, North Force achieved their two goals and got on the board first courtesy of forward Scott Burgess early in the piece.

However, with a head full of steam and the match all but over, a relentless surprise attack from Papakura was too much for North Force's defensive line.

The northern side's defence has been on fire throughout the season to date, conceding the lowest number of goals and claiming the tag as one of the best defensive outfits in the league.

Earlier in the day, the North Force reserves took on Papakura City's reserve team but were beaten by the visiting side, 3-1.

After a good run at the start of the year, the side have waned down the division-two ladder to sit around the middle.

In other local football action at the weekend, Onerahi secured a 4-3 win over Kaitaia United, while Kerikeri had a convincing 5-0 win over Bream Bay United at Ruakaka.

Tikipunga scored a solid 4-0 win over Whangarei FC Madhatters to better their position on the Northland Premier Men's ladder, while the match between Kamo and Central Brown was postponed.
