Kamo and Onerahi will face off for the Stafford Choat Cup after picking up semifinal wins over their Tikipunga rivals.

Onerahi picked up a high-scoring 5-3 victory over Tikipunga Reserves while Kamo were dominant in their 4-0 win over Tikipunga Premiers.

Onerahi left it until extra time to get the result over Tikipunga Reserves. Two goals in extra time led them to the promised land of Toll Stadium for the final.

Daniel Hanmore stood out for the Onerahi side who showed a lot of attacking nous. However Tikipunga Reserves were a match for them until half-time, carrying over their form from their shock win over Kerikeri Bay Builders last week.

Their opponents will be Kamo, who look in fine fettle heading into the decider.

In a physical battle where both sides took no prisoners, Kamo proved to be the more clinical side.

After a goal-less first 20 minutes Kamo slotted home a penalty strike through player/coach Sam Walker.

Midfielder Calvin Erick put Walker in space in the box but he was brought down and duly converted the goal scoring opportunity.

Neither side budged for the remainder of the first spell, Kamo holding a 1-0 edge into the break.

The Erick-Walker connection reared its head early in the second half to double their lead.

Tikipunga held as strongly as they could in a staunch performance but goals from Sam Nimmo and Sammy Oso secured Kamo's spot in the final.

Walker said the team put in a great showing ahead of their major goal.

"It was a great team performance. Full credit to the lads; they dug deep and got the rewards.

"The backline were solid and Dom Fromont coming back from injury put in a great shift for the boys.

"The two central midfielders Jo Luiten and Calvin Erick were outstanding in the middle.

"We work hard now for the final."

Meanwhile Kamo clinched the Northland Women's Premier Division with a 5-0 win over Bay Cosmos.

A brace of goals from both Ellie Andrews and Dee Tunstall as well as one from Dallas Olsen got them over the line, sparking big celebrations from the team.

In the other match in the division Tikipunga shut out Bream Bay 3-0.
