Emergency services called to three-car pile up

No one was injured in a three-car pile up on Otaika Rd just after 2pm yesterday.

A full emergency services contingent - fire, police and ambulance - responded to the call but in the end it was damaged to the vehicles that was more serious. Police said two of the cars involved were towed away due to the damage.

Traffic control was quickly in place to guide drivers around the scene.
