You can't communicate enough, they reckon.

And while I am starting to feel like I am boring readers because I am repeating myself, I am advised by people far wiser than I, that I should continue reminding you about the changes that we have made in the past week.

Given my faux pax in forgetting to remind people about the jumbo crossword moving from Friday to Saturday, I think those people far wiser than I might be right.

So where were we, right, Tuesday.

Tuesday, we have a new Good Life section and it's way better than the last one we had. There are six pages of food, wine, fashion and health. I may be biased though - you're talking to someone who lists one of his favourite programmes as Project Runway - something I stated publicly recently and was subjected to much derision by my colleagues.

Based on my colleagues' reaction, I am probably in for some hate mail from readers - but at least it might distract me from the jumbo crossword fans waving placards outside the Advocate stating "Down - with the editor!".

I jest, but it is a serious business when you can't find your way around your newspaper, particularly when it is part of your daily routine.

Great to see our Education page again today, schools are slowly becoming aware of its presence. Keep the school news coming to reporters@northernadvocate.co.nz for the attention of our education reporter Joseph Aldridge. If you love or loathe it, my direct line is 470 2852
