Geoff Parker has led Kamo High to victory in the clash of the two Kamo sides in the reserve grade Declaration Cricket division.

Kamo High batted first and put their opponents under pressure with contributions throughout the order.

Despite being reduced to 25 for 2 after 10 overs, Kamo High recovered with Parker forming a century partnership with Max Turner (16).

Parker dominated the scoring despite the best efforts of Kamo's bowlers, with Heera Singh's 2 for 32 the best of the bunch.

Harry Cooper joined Parker in the middle and scored an entertaining 36 before Parker brought up his century, ending the innings 101 not out.

Kamo High set Kamo a target of 192 for victory and looked like wrapping the contest up early with four bowlers taking two wickets a piece.

The final wicket partnership kept a faint hope of a draw for Kamo before succumbing after a stout 13-over stand, giving Kamo High another win.

Meanwhile Duracrete Products City beat Onerahi Central-Huanui College (OCHC) by three wickets at Kensington Park.

Cole Roberts was the pick of the batsman for OCHC, who batted first, scoring 33, however no one kicked on for the young side.

Tim King took 4 for 11 to rip through OCHC's tail, dismissing them for 121 from 49.1 overs.

This gave them 40 overs to reach the target, though running out of time was never on the cards as Garry Paine (68) scored freely.

Despite early breakthroughs from James Martin (3 for 34), City were cruising at 113 for 4.

Three wickets in an over from Will Potts (3 for 5) gave City a fright but they picked up the final 10 runs needed with minimal fuss.

WRMK Kerikeri regained their first-round form to beat Whangarei Boys' High School by three wickets.

Three run-outs helped Kerikeri restrict their opponents to 112 from 48.2 overs.

In reply Max Hart's unbeaten 30 got them home with relative comfort.
