Duracrete Products City have clinched the one-day/two-day double after a big innings win in the Oxford Trust Two Day competition before the Lion Red Cup one day final was washed out.
After rolling Onerahi Central for just 66 on day one of their two-day clash and beginning day two on249 for six, City decided to kick on with their innings and make dead certain of the result.
Matthew Lobb and Ryan Brown, starting on 12 and one respectively, took full toll on an understrength Onerahi attack.
Both batsman feasted on the bowling as they put on 137 for the seventh wicket.
Between them they struck 19 boundaries and went pretty much at a run a ball.
Lobb was the first wicket to fall on day two as medium-pace bowler Tom Keogh, who had three wickets on day one, knocked him over for 60.
The next over Brown chipped one straight back to off-spinner Sam Walker (1 for 132) on 89, just 11 shy of a ton.
Keogh, the pick of the bowlers, added a positive note to Onerahi Central's day as he grabbed a five-wicket bag. He finished with figures of five for 90 from 20 overs.
City added to Onerahi's misfortune as numbers 10 and 11 Hayden Keast (56) and Rafe Fannin (47 not out) piled on a final-wicket century partnership.
City were finally dismissed for 521, a club innings total record, giving them a first innings lead of 455.
Following the last wickets, both sides shook hands and ended the day prematurely, cementing City's position as the premier two-day side.

City's chances of grabbing two victories on the field were scuppered by rain on Sunday, meaning no play happened in the Lion Red Cup final against Westech Automotives Maungakaramea.
The washout meant City wrapped up their second consecutive one-day title, locking their position at the top.
Meanwhile, a Kyran Dill ton was the highlight in the drawn match between Kaipara Flats and Whangarei Boys' High School.
WBHS added just six runs to their overnight lead as they were dismissed for 166 but made early inroads with the ball.
Dill, partnered with Aaron Wright (61), kicked on to score a sublime 135 off just 89 deliveries to help his side declare at 229 for six.
Dill hit 12 boundaries and eight sixes in his knock.
WBHS were left a chase of 215 for a final round victory, but Kaipara Flats also had their eyes on the win.
WBHS got starts from most of their batsman, with Lewis Miller the top scorer at 30, but Kaipara Flats made life tough as Shaun Beamish (3 for 40) and Simar Virk (3 for 35) bowled accurately.
WBHS pushed through to make 151 for nine to hang on for a draw.
In the final match, a great all-round performance from Ben Hyde led Kamo to a four-wicket win over Maungakaramea.
Neal Parlane (85) and BJ Cochrane (53) helped Maungakaramea to 181 all out, with Hyde picking up three wickets for himself.
Chasing 201 for the victory, Hyde scored an unbeaten 113 in a knock including eight boundaries and eight sixes to get Kamo home.
