However, regular wickets from that point on hindered their chances of winning the match.

In the final match, Onerahi Central scored a 65-run victory over Whangarei Boys High School Second XI.
Onerahi openers BJ Howie (25) and Michael Vickers (28) got them off to a quick start, putting on 79 for the opening stand.
Andrew Johnsen scored a patient 27 in the middle order, while Martin Tansley (14) and Callum Harnett contributed to a good innings of 186 all out from Onerahi.
They could have scored more had it not been for off-spinner Lukesh Kidd (4 for 24), who bowled a great spell of slow bowling.
WBHS' reply started disastrously, losing three wickets for just 11 runs to start as Axel Sheppard (2 for 29) got into his work.
