Diane Strawbridge and Bill Harris will combine to play for the bronze medal in the same competition.

Others who played yesterday were Maureen Parker and her team, Budgies fours, Carol Neeley and Diane Strawbridge in the women's pairs. Unfortunately I have found it quite difficult to get results of these events on the web.

Good bowling to those that have qualified and are searching for gold, silver or bronze.

Bowlers are reminded that there is a survey on the Centre website and you are asked to comment on the format for the Centre awards night.

So far 17 people have responded and we would like to see more of you having your say.
Bowls NZ also has a survey on its website over the formats for future NZ bowls events. This survey will close on May 5 so have your say now.

Reminder - The Coaching Association has its annual fundraising tournament on May 2.
Please contact Sue Wightman for an entry. You are asked to include a "one to eight" bowler in your team.

The Umpires Association is also holding its Annual Any combination triples tournament on May 16.

Entries to Bruce Scott please. Umpires are reminded to enter a team to ensure that this tournament is a success.

Clubs wanting to change open tournaments for next season should be contacting the events manager requesting changes. Copies of the 2017-18 programme have been sent to all club secretaries.
