Club championships were held last weekend by most clubs
The Centre Open Pairs for men and women is the next event on the calendar, to be held on October 28-29.
Players are reminded that entries close today. The number of entries this year is strong and there will be at least two greens required for each section. The winnersof these events will represent Northland in the regional finals later in the season. The section draw will be on the centre's website on Tuesday and all clubs will be notified.
Club championships were held last weekend by most clubs and will continue over Labour Weekend.
The winners will represent their clubs in the Centre Champion of Champion events later in the season.
Club open tournaments this coming week are: Monday: Kensington AC Triples with one under-8 player per team; Tuesday: Ngunguru AC Triples; Wednesday: Maungatapere MX Triples; Thursday: Hikurangi AC Police Tournament Triples, Ruawai AC Triples; Friday: Whangarei AC Triples at 5.30pm, One Tree Point Women's Triples. Entries are also being accepted for the Junior Centre Open Pairs for men and women to be held on November 4-5. These close on October 26. Please enter on the centre's website, by email or entry form in the handbook. Players maybe from different clubs for this event.
