This weekend sees the first of our Centre Champion of Champion events. The singles are at Kensington on Saturday and the triples at Maungaturoto on Sunday. Singles entries:

Men: Arapohue, Dargaville, Hikurangi, Kamo, Kensington, Leigh, Mangawhai, Maungatapere, Maungaturoto, Ngunguru, Onerahi, One Tree Pt, Ruawai, Waipu and Whangarei.

Women: Hikurangi, Kamo, Maungaturoto, Onerahi, One Tree Pt, Ruawai, Waipu and Whangarei.

Clubs are reminded that markers will be required please. Reporting time is 8.15am. Triples entries:

Congratulations to Merv Myocevich of Hikurangi Club who was third in the New Zealand final of the Grants Corner to Corner competition at Birkenhead.

Deadline closes

Clubs are reminded that any changes proposed for their open tournament programme for 2015-16 should be in the hands of the operations committee by May 10. The centre programme and greens request will be forwarded to all clubs by May 10 also. As Bowls NZ are reviewing their programme, we may find some changes to national events will be implemented prior to the centre programme going to print.

Expressions of interest for centre events manager, selectors, representative managers and coaches close on May 1.
