The following is the draw for the Centre Mixed Pairs to be played this Saturday and Sunday. Forty six entries were received.

Day 1:
Section at Onerahi: S. Wightman, W. Wrack, P. Arbon, M. Attwood, M. Heaton, K. Horscroft, S. Egerton, K. Sidwell, E. Edlin, S. Stirling, M. Scott, D.
Brewster, J. Hardie, D. Strawbridge, P. Strong, M. Gurney.

Section at Hikurangi: S. Mitchell, D. Reader, R. Heaton, P. Mumford, R. Bowmar, C. Pierce, A. Trimmer, I. Halls, J. Dunn, I. Bowick, M. Haslam, P. Warth, L. Mills, P. Mitchell, J. Erceg, B. Roberts.

Section at Ngunguru: S. Ayerst, D. Owens, B. Barnetta, G. Herbert, D. McMurchy, J. Cooper, K. Stewart, M. Germann, G. Bond, D. Lawrence, K. Fitness, D. Hardy, L. Vallance, L. Reader.

The winner of this event will represent Northland in the regional playoffs. Play is scheduled to start at 8.45am. Post-section play on Sunday will be at Ngunguru greens, starting at 8.45am.

Maungatapere Club advise that their tournament scheduled for yesterday has been rearranged for next Wednesday. Other club fixtures scheduled for next week are: One Tree Point AC Triples on Monday; Hikurangi AC Triples on Thursday and the Dargaville MX Triples on Friday from 12.30pm. The Arapohue Classic 2M2W is on Saturday, October 7.

The first regional competition for representative players will be held on Saturday, October 7 at Maungaturoto for 1-8 players and Hobsonville for 1-5 players. Play starts at Maungaturoto at 9.30am. Teams from North Harbour, Auckland and Northland will be competing in singles, pairs, triples and fours competition for men and women. Unfortunately, the Far North have withdrawn their representative teams.

The next Centre fixture is the Centre Open Pairs for men and women and will be played the weekend of October 28-29. Entries are being accepted by website, email, or entry form from the handbook. Club championships are scheduled for the weekends of October 14-15 and October 21-22. Check your club noticeboard.
