Bowling news

The Centre dinner, awards night and Centre prize-giving will be held this Saturday night at the Kamo Club. Evening activities include the presentation of gold stars and gold bars, which have been won by players during the current season, and a guest speaker for the evening. The evening starts at 6pm.

The Centre AGM will be held on Sunday at the Whangarei Bowling Club rooms at 1pm. Clubs are reminded to ensure they have a delegate present for this meeting please.

Coaching AGM

Last week I suggested that the Coaching Association AGM would be held in July. Coaches please note that this meeting is to be held on June 24 at 5.30pm at Kensington Bowling Club.

Tiger Turf league

The Kamo Bowling Club held a successful section of the Tiger Turf winter league last Sunday. Successful teams were those entered by Charlie Jellick and Robin Sowerby.

The next series will be at One Tree Point this Saturday, Hikurangi on June 28, followed by Kensington and Mangawhai.

The first and second place getters will play in the regional final at One Tree Point on July 25.
