Hot on the heels of #MeToo and Time's Up, soul singer Ladi6 has taken things a step further, telling New Zealand it's simply Outta Time.
The Kiwi music stalwart, whose real name is Karoline Tamati, is taking her Outta Time tour through the country's regions this month to deliver her music to fans in small towns.
Ladi6 is taking her latest album to the regions as part of a unique two-part tour this June and July.
From June 1 to June 30 she will do full performances of the Royal Blue 3000 album across 13 dates including Napier, Gisborne, New Plymouth, Hamilton, Whangārei, Russell and South Island venues.
From July 11 she'll be joined by SilvaMC, Jess B and Bailey Wiley, an entirely wahine line-up for shows in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.
Ladi6 plays at Tikipunga Tavern, Whangārei, tonight and The Duke of Marlborough Tavern, Russell, tomorrow night. Both gigs start at 8pm.
Wellington native now Auckland-based BaseFM DJ legend Dylan C will join Ladi6 and Parks.
