They were off with a woof at Whangarei's Jog4Dogs on Sunday, as canines put their owners through their paces on the Hatea Loop.

The SPCA fundraiser attracted hundreds of people and their dogs, who relaxed and socialised for about an hour before the 11am run/walk, the pace depending on the size of the paws.
