Zammo, Zena and Richie are three of the kittens available at Whangarei SPCA.

Whangarei SPCA always has lots of animals needing new homes. Our Tip of the Week feature includes details of SPCA animals up for adoption, and an SPCA tip for animal care.

Zammo, Zena and Richie

Zammo, Zena and Richie are three kittens available at Whangarei SPCA.

The SPCA has a cattery full of lovely kittens and cats so its February kitten special is continuing.

There is a $60 adoption fee for kittens under six months, down from $100.

Owners will need a cat cage or box to take them home in and the SPCA has them in its shop if needed.

If those interested in a pet rent their property, they will need to bring a letter from their landlord showing they have permission to have a new pet.

Tip of the week:

When you adopt from the SPCA, you save money as your new pet is already desexed, microchipped, had its first vaccination and been treated for worms and fleas.

The SPCA is open 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday.
