Otaika Lotto and Post in Whangarei sold one of six winning tickets for a $50,000 prize in Saturday night's Lotto draw.
Barely three months ago - in January - the shop sold a ticket that won a lucky punter $500,000 in Lotto's first division.
The other five $50,000 winning tickets at the weekend were bought in Waitakere, Wanganui, Wellington, Paraparaumu and Palmerston North.
Six Northland shops - two in Whangarei and one each in Kaikohe, Kawakawa, Mangawhai and Awanui - sold tickets that were among 90 winners of $10,000 prizemoney.
NZ Lotteries spokeswoman Kate Richards said an extra $2million worth of prizes were up for grabs during a two-week promotion that ended with Saturday night's draw. Anyone who bought a Triple Dip went into the draw to win extra prizes.
The powerball has jackpotted to $6million for this weekend.
