Whangarei police are appealing for information following the aggravated robbery of a Whangarei business.
At 10.40am yesterday two offenders entered Metal Man NZ Limited on Rewa Rewa Rd and brandished a firearm at an employee in the business. The offenders then left with several thousands of dollars.
Police would liketo hear about any sightings of a Grey Nissan Terrano, registration number BPZ926, believed to have been used in the armed robbery. The vehicle was found by police on South End Avenue not far from where the robbery happened.
It had been stolen from the Forum North Carpark in the Whangarei CBD around midday on Saturday 12th December.
