Is that light you can see when you go to work? Could that really be the sun that's still up when you're cooking dinner?
Yes, the sun is back - or at least is trying to be. So prepare to protect your peepers and put off squinting-induced wrinkles with summer's ultimate
accessory. This season's sunglasses styles are all looking distinctly retro with trends from the past popping up again.
Some of the top ones are:
Aviators
Previously the domain of men, aviators are no longer a one-size fits all, metallic framed and and mirrored lenses style. Aviators have been given a feminine take for summer with splashes of colour.
Cats Eye
Part of the bigger trend towards 1960s styles, cat's eye styles are big among the American celebrity scene at the moment. Everyone from Lady Gaga to Scarlett Johansson has been spotted wearing this retro style lately. They are characterised by the frames getting wider towards the top. Besides looking incredibly cool, you'll find the cat's eye shape also emphasises your cheek bones.

Colour

There's more than the choice between black and tortoiseshell this summer. Colourful lenses are showing in some classic styles like the Ray Ban Wayfarer and Aviator. Karen Walker also makes choosing a pair hard with her colourful Sol style.
Prints
You'll also find sunglasses designers haven't held back on the prints for the coming season. Inspired by the adventures of Alice in Wonderland, Versace has produced a collection featuring a "visual whirl". Ray Ban also has its Rare Prints collection made up of psychedelic prints.
