Your summer wardrobe is starting to flourish, so it's your beauty regime that's going to be the icing on the cake this season. We've picked the top three beauty looks for the season and paired them with outfits to match. Whether you'd prefer to spend your days on the beach or by the pool, this summer there are colours and shades for everyone.
Queen of the glamazon
This look is all about complexion perfection. After applying foundation and concealer use a bronzing powder to brazenly bronze skin. Don't restrict bronzer to just your cheekbones. Using a medium-sized powder brush, take the bronzer along cheekbones, chin, neckline and forehead to define all your contours. Keeps eyes minimal, and apply mascara for head-turning lashes. If you want to play with colour on your eyelids mix khakis and coppers for a majestic gaze. For lips that glimmer in the sun, opt for a hydrating gloss. When it comes to choosing an outfit to match, unabashed tribal prints will offset your glowing complexion. Pair with statement jewellery and you are dressed to impress.
Candy girl
Pastels were huge on the international runway for spring 2010 and now the trend has been infused into the world of beauty. This look has a definite edge of innocence to it, so use a pink shimmer powder to create coy, flushed cheeks. For doll-like lashes apply two coats of mascara on both top and bottom lashes. Kissable lips are pretty-in-pink so choose candy-apple and candy-floss hues. We are in love with all the sweet-as-sherbet shades of nail polish available at the moment - lilac and pastel pink are our favourite choices. If you want to go all out with this look there are plenty of summer garments in painterly pastels in store at the moment, just remember to complete the look with bold but feminine accessories.

As darkness falls

Turn things up a notch after the sun sets with blood-red lips that are sure to seduce. Lining your lips with a lip pencil will ensure colour stays in place all night long. If your skin is warm toned, choose a shade of red with orange, brown undertones to it. Cooler toned skin tones should choose reds with a pink or blue base and darker skin tones can play with deep, pigmented hues. Your dramatic lips are going to be the focus of attention so keep eyes minimal and search the runway for inspiration for after dark wear. We'll be making luxe lace our weapon of choice come sultry summer evenings.
