One night in Bangkok: four mates, a hair of the monkey
Non-stop mayhem and laughter is the best way to describe the latest antics from the Hangover crew.
If you enjoyed the adventures of the wolfpack in the original Hangover, you are not going to be disappointed by this adventure.
As
sequels go, this is a cracker.
Of course, there is a rider that if offensive language, gratuitous nudity, sexual content and drug-taking offends, steer well clear.
This time around it is Stu (Ed Helms) who is getting married.
The wedding is in Thailand so, reluctantly, he invites the entire crew along for his big day - there's his best mate Phil (Bradley Cooper), Doug (Justin Bartha) and the weird but wonderful Alan (Zach Galifianakis).
But with memories of Doug's wedding in Las Vegas fresh in his mind, Stu is determined to behave himself and get to the ceremony on time. We know that is not going to bring much fun so Alan spikes the drinks and the party gets under way.
When the boys wake up the next morning in a rundown apartment in an unknown city (Bangkok), they know it has happened again.
With foggy heads and little information, they must work out what happened to them and where Stu's future brother-in-law Teddy (Mason Lee), has disappeared to.
Retracing their steps takes us on a hysterical journey through bars, tattoo parlours, a strip club, a brothel and even a street fight. The lads are made to realise what a huge night they have survived.
The laughs come thick and fast and you can be sure that just about anything that comes out of Alan's mouth is going to be worth listening to. He is one strange, mixed-up man, but oh so funny.
Hold on to your passport, Hangover, Part II is going to take you on a wild and very satisfying ride.
