Texting while driving may be illegal right now, but just wait until there are cars that drive themselves.
Google has just made the idea less futuristic and more just around the corner by revealing it has been testing a fully automated car.
"Our goal is to help prevent traffic accidents, free up
people's time and reduce carbon emissions by fundamentally changing car use," Google said on its blog.
The automated cars use video cameras, radar sensors and a laser rangefinder to "see" other traffic, as well as detailed maps to navigate the road ahead.
All of the test runs have had a driver behind the wheel just in case.
Virtual disaster relief
Just in time for the International Day for Disaster Reduction, an Aussie charity has launched a game for iPads, iPhones and iPods that lets gamers pretend they are delivering aid to victims.
"Earthquake Response" might be a too close to home for our Canty cousins though as players react to an earthquake by dishing out food, water and shelter to families.
The game was launched by the Save the Children charity and is free to download.
Be rap's MVP on da sofa
Fancy yourself as a rapper?
The demand for karaoke-style games has seen the launch of Def Jam Rapster.
It's been released on Xbox, PS3 and Wii and comes loaded with more than 40 new-school and old-school hip-hop classics such as Notorious B.I.G's Big Poppa, Nelly's Hot in Here and Lil Wayne's A Milli.
Gamers play by selecting a song to rhyme over and matching the words and pitch to the music video on screen, much the same as SingStar.
"Listen, at the end of the day, we wanted everybody to have an opportunity to rap to their favourite songs, to rap over the hottest tracks from producers around the world and to battle people around the world," said Kevin Liles, president of Def Jam Enterprises.
Grounds for divorce
Who hasn't sent a text they regret before?
No matter how many times you've pressed send without thinking it through though, it's unlikely to have had the same consequences as the texts a South Korean man sent.
The married man sent texts saying "I love you" and "I've missed you so bad" to another woman, leading the Seoul Family Court to rule his wife had grounds for divorce.
The man lost half the family property in the divorce settlement.
