Eyebrows are best when they are not noticed. But having them properly shaped can make a big difference to your face. Work with what you have, don't try to alter the shape of your brows too significantly.
To work out the ideal shape, you will need a pencil. First, hold it
against the side of your nose, pointing straight up. That is where your eyebrows should start.
Next, put it flat against the end of your nose and tilt it outwards so it runs in front of your pupil. Where the pencil finishes is where the arch of your eyebrow should be.
Brows should end right above the outer corner of the eye.
Sometimes all that is needed is a trim, rather than actual plucking. Brush your eyebrows up and trim any that stick out beyond the line of others.
Only remove stray hairs from above your eyebrows.
Tweeze your eyebrows somewhere where there is plenty of light. Only tweeze a few at a time and pluck in the direction the hair grows. Wipe your tweezers with alcohol every so often to avoid oily build-up.
The best time to deal to your eyebrows is the week after your period - you are less likely to feel the pain.
If you're unsure, pluck less than you think is necessary.
