Dry hair is a common summer problem, whether it's caused by too much sun or too much sea swimming.
To stop the problem getting worse, ditch the hair straighteners and hairdryers. Heat is very drying and hard on hair. If you can't bear to be separated from the irons, invest ina good protecting spray.
The solution could be in your fridge. Make a homemade hair mask:
Mash and smooth the mixture through your hair. Cover in cling film and leave for 10 minutes.
Mix an egg, a teaspoon of olive oil and a bit of lemon juice together and comb it through. Leave for an hour.
Make a mask out of avocado and aloe vera gel and leave it on overnight, covered with a shower cap.
Enlist someone to give you a regular scalp massage - this stimulates natural oils that protect and nourish your hair.
Cut down the number of times you wash your hair. Twice or three times a week should be enough.
Use products that are designed for dry hair.
My picks: L'Oreal Elvive smooth intense mask, Kerastase Bain Satin, Moroccanoil oil treatment.
