Pink Friday - Nicki Minaj
4.5/5
I can't remember the last time I couldn't wait for an album to be released, but Pink Friday by Nicki Minaj was one album I was eagerly awaiting months in advance. Minaj is a hip-hop diva who, this year, has stamped her mark on the industry
as part of the Cash Money family, which includes artists such as Jay Sean and Lil Wayne. She's the 2010 version of Pitbull or Akon, the performer who seems to be on every track at the moment - and for good reason. Minaj is one talented woman. She can sing, she can rap and she rocks a pretty mean English accent.
Pink Friday starts with a track appropriately called I'm The Best - and I support that 100 per cent.
My favourite tracks include Fly, featuring Rihanna, Moment for Life, featuring Drake, Check It Out, featuring Will.i.Am, Your Love and Last Chance, featuring Natasha Bedingfield.
Minaj is definitely an entertainer.
