Music for the Man Cave
4/5
You have to wonder how many dads received this testosterone-boosting wee gem on Father's Day. If poor, whipped Brian from the Poochi numberplate insurance ad was real, this would be just the tonic for him - 20 tracks of , "Yes you're a man and if
you're not it's time to grow some".
You can practically feel the stubble growing on your chin when you open the CD case. From Cold Chisel's Khe Sanh to Billy Idol's Rebel Yell and Motorhead's Ace of Spades, there is a certain air of blokes on the booze and remembering the good times about it.
It's not all 70s and 80s fare either - the 90s get a good look in with Supergrass and Placebo tracks.
Favourite track: Buzzcocks' Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)?
Guilty pleasure: Silverchair's Tomorrow.
Pleasant surprise: Jerry Harrison's Rev It Up.
