Bruno Mars has one of those voices that makes you want to lie back with your eyes closed and just enjoy. His latest album, Doo-wops & Hooligans, features 11 tracks including the hit singles Grenade and Just the Way You Are. Mars has an old-school sound that he puts into hismusic and it's one of the things I enjoy most about him. There's definitely a bit of doo-wop in this album. My favourite songs on the album include Grenade, Marry You, Liquor Store Blues featuring Damian Marley and The Other Side featuring Cee Lo Green and B.O.B. Mars is a versatile artist. It is hard to lump him into one musical genre. His voice has soul, his music hints ofpop and R&B, splashed with the occasional bit of reggae. Not only will Mars' soothing voice keep your ears on edge throughout the album, you'll be impressed with his songwriting skills as well. 4.5/5
