Said to be the final album from The Streets, Computers and Blues is a hell of a way to go out for one-man band Mike Skinner. And it's his guest artists, as much as his own laid-back, drawling rap style, that makes this record.
The Music's Robert Harvey wails his way through the brilliantly rocky Going Through Hell and comes across all Marianne Faithfull sad on the otherwise jaunty Soldiers.
Elsewhere Clare Maguire lends her vocals to Lock the Locks, The Streets' farewell track. The musical styles vary across the album, with touches of rock, garage, R&B and electronic flourishes.
The Streets risked becoming a gimmick act at one point, but this album shows there's more going on behind the laughs.
