Tailor-made bundles will be the speciality of an ultra-fast broadband provider whizzing into Whangarei on the country's new fibre network.

CallPlus is the business side of telco and internet provider Slingshot.

General manager Kelvin Hussey said it is as active as any other broadband provider hooking up to the unbundled fibre network.

The market advantage is that CallPlus will create packages to suit any sized business customer, he told representatives of about 100 Whangarei businesses at the recent monthly Northland Chamber of Commerce After 5 event.

CallPlus provides a needs-meeting package for one of the country's biggest users - Hamilton City Council - right down to an owner-operated day spa in Wellington.

Mr Hussey said the company services businesses in 17 regions around the country, including the 40 per cent of Whangarei which is now fibre ready (due to increase to 80 per cent by July).

"UFB is a game changer for all New Zealand businesses and we are committed to providing affordable ultra-fast broadband. With CallPlus, there's no need to worry about limiting usage.

"Businesses will have unlimited internet, so they can utilise all the benefits of UFB without unplanned and escalating costs."

While the company's UFB bundles cater to the needs of any-sized business operator, customers also retain the ability for businesses to choose their own add-ons and upgrades.

Also included in the packages is online backup to disaster-proof business data, a web domain name, web hosting, two analogue lines, attractive calling packs and free hardware to reduce capital outlay.

"Our aim is to speed up Kiwi business so we are always coming up with innovative ways to make it a reality for our customers," Mr Hussey said.
