A passion for astro photography has led to a paying gig for Kerikeri resident Chris Pegman.
The osteopath by day spends much of his nights peering through a camera or gazing at a computer screen, working on his photos.
But after what was supposed to be a bit of funlate last year, with a couple of photos for an online photo challenge, went viral, he was contacted by US-based online retailer Vida suggesting they print garments with his images.
The upmarket garments are being printed in Florida, US, India and Bangladesh. The poly/silk-blended T-shirts are expected to cost around $100, while cashmere/silk scarves fetch around $120.
Mr Pegman has submitted 25 images featuring iconic panoramic New Zealand landscapes and astro photographic night sky scenes, so far, and is looking at sending a total of up to 100 to Vida.
