Pacific Motor Group co-owner Hamish Sheard confirmed last week the company's new base at Kaka St would incorporate all three of its franchises, Ford, Mazda and Suzuki.

The Suzuki dealership is  operated out of separate premises in Dyer St.

Pacific Motor Group's new location is right next to the site
on the corner of Kaka and Porowini Sts where Mitre 10 plans  a megastore.

Hamish Sheard says he and PMG co-owner Roger Taylor are  pleased to be relocating to such an extensive and potentially high-profile site.

He said they anticipated a three-stage development of the new base over the next two years.

Like Mitre 10, Pacific Motor Group is looking to leverage off the big increase in traffic flows that will come when Porowini Ave extension opens,  creating a new city loop route.
