The great Hawke's Bay floods of April 2011
<p>Heavy rain which hit Hawke's Bay on 26 and 27 of April has been described as one of the worst storms to hit the region in decades. On Thursday several communities remained cut off by slips and floods while over a hundred people still could not return to their homes due to flooding and threat of landslides. </p>
