Problems caused by the wild wind were not enough to spoil the mood at the Hawke's Bay Wine and Food Festival on Saturday. Festival organiser Carol-Ann Stubbs said despite the torrential rain in the morning and high winds about noon, by the afternoon conditions were much better at Roy's Hill and about 2000 people settled in to enjoy the region's best food and wine.
