Havelock North School marks 150 years
Havelock North Primary School wrapped up their 150th jubilee celebrations yesterday with a interdenominational service and plaque unveiling, but Saturday was cake cutting day for the school, which opened in 1863. Chief photographer Warren Buckland was there to see the school's oldest living ex-pupil Carol Leedon, 98, cut the cake with Zoe Driscoll, 5, the youngest current student.
