Alpine Adventures: Tararua tramping pictures
The Southern Crossing of the Tararua Range can go from a fairytale Lord of the Rings style hike to a literal deathtrap. Andrew Bonallack set out to experience the three-day crossing from Otaki Forks to Kaitoke and took these photos.
