Mud run cleans up as fundraiser
The weather was irrelevant for the 340 people who entered the second annual Hawke's Bay Mud Run yesterday. The Pukehamoamoa School fundraiser included bog-slogging, uphill muddles, slippery obstacles, a cascading mudslide, a slimy hay bale climb and a shingle hill scramble. The event was held on Rick Alexander's farm and Morton Estate's vineyard on Omapere Rd in Crownthorpe. Photographer Duncan Brown captured the fun.
