Halfback Jensen, who was a member of the 2002, 2006 and 2010 World Cup-winning Black Ferns teams, is back with the Tuis after representing Waikato from 2002-04 and Auckland from 2005 to 2015. She has a physical education teacher's job at Hastings Girls' High School.
"It's awesome to be home again and it's a bonus I get to play rugby," Jensen said.
She is happy with the way the fifth-placed Tuis are progressing and said the players are gelling well. Jensen knows a win against Harbour today will boost the Tuis chances of securing a semifinal.
"It's going to be a tough game but a semifinal is our goal. Anything after that is a bonus."
"North Harbour have a big physical pack. They will try and bash us up front and then look to go wide because they have some good backs."
Former Black Ferns loosie Lydia Crossman, who played for the Tuis in 2011, will start at No 8 for North Harbour.
Jensen believed there is plenty of potential in the female game in Hawke's Bay and predicted more Tuis will gain national honours in the future. She also hinted there could be another first class season in her next year too.
"My body is holding up good. I'm pretty open and enjoying my rugby so we will see," she added.
The Tuis will have a couple of extra incentives to cause an upset and gain revenge for last year's 20-0 loss.
Captain and second five-eighth Amy Williams will be playing her 60th first class match for the hosts and fullback Shaylee Tipiwai her 30th.
Tuis head coach Steve Woods is rapt to have a full strength squad available for the televised match including winger Tori Iosefo who doesn't travel to away games because of family commitments.
"We've changed the way we are going to attack. We know where we have to put their big forwards. We've got a plan and everyone is happy we can execute it. We will give them a run for their money if we can spoil their play around the contact area."
Woods heaped kudos on Jensen's contribution to the campaign to date.
"Her kicking game and tactical nous is superb. She guides the forwards well and takes the pressure of Krysten [first five-eighth Cottrell] which allows Krysten plenty of opportunities to weave her magic."
