Wintec fashion students, in conjunction with the NZ Fashion Museum and Waikato Museum Te Whare o Waikato, will share their work as part of a Fashion Weekend series of events.

The Wintec Future Fashionista's Exhibition showcases work from across the first, second, and third-year fashion students.

The exhibition has been organised by the final year students who are excited to share their work and their fashion degree experience.

"We cannot wait to show the public what we have been planning over the last few weeks," third-year fashion student Brydie Senior says.

Wintec fashion lecturer and project facilitator of the event Rebekah Harman says students have worked hard over the last few weeks to collate this work.

"They have put a lot of thought into the exhibition and are excited to host and share their experiences with the public."

Waikato Museum is also looking forward to hosting Wintec fashion students' work, which will complement the exhibitions from the NZ Fashion Museum and Dressing Australia Museum of Costume running until October 14.

The exhibition will be hosted by third-year students who will be available to answer questions from the public and give a 'sneak-peak' at the final year collections in progress for Wintec's end-of-year fashion show on November 18 at The Meteor.
