“But they will need to bring all of their skills and work together for the full hour tomorrow, because YMP Sunshine Brewery have played strongly in their last outings.”
Lytton coach Claire Campbell said her girls have a huge amount of respect for YMP.
“But we will do our best to play well against them tomorrow.
“The team (Ritana) has been progressing well, though I would like to see a bit more consistency.”
YMP coach Ingrid Brown acknowledged that Ritana have been improving steadily every game.
“We cannot take them too lightly tomorrow, and we will have our full line-up available for the match.”
Brown said her team’s groundwork and structures were near the favourable targets they had set for themselves.
“At the moment we have a nice balance throughout the court.
“So we are nearly there.”
Heading into the clash Claydens Waikohu (1) head the table on 17 points, followed by YMP Sunshine Brewery, Taste One HSOG and Whangara Old Girls, all on 16. Gisborne Girls’ High and Ritana are tied on six points apiece, and Horouta Gold have two.
